Abbey Lee Kershaw with Baptiste Giabiconi
Chanel Spring 2010 Couture

These two are my current model obsessions!!
I love the work of both of them +
my life is basically completed by this picture!

set the fire to the third bar

current obsession: fiery red locks

I feel that red hair is most gorgeous when one is blessed
with this electric color naturally.
I wish I could pull this color off for a day,
but I don't think that will ever happen...

The heavy, smoky eyeshadow that is worn in the first
and second photos looks gorgeously daring
with the two models' hair colors.

I'm also obsessed with how the woman in the streetstyle picture
is wearing a contrasting blue-green top + navy blazer
with her red hair!
I such a fan of contrasting colors because they
make everything pop and become much more prominent.

live the life you imagined...

I love, love, love the first photo!
It takes me back to my summer days down the shore, which I miss so much
since it's freakin' 10 degrees out right now!

The third photo is a painting and it reminds
me Penn Station in NYC.
A girl in my art class just recently did a black + white pastel piece
just like this, and she perfectly smeared + blurred each person
to give the effect that everyone is rushing around.
It looked so good + I really wish I could hang it in my room!

I find the painting of the woman lying across the bed
to be so beautiful and graceful.
Her jawline and stomach are just amazing.

The artist's lines and use of negative space are
my favorite aspects of the sketch of a cartoon of eggs.

The smoothness of the woman's face in the wall mural
looks amazing, also!

dust in the wind

Daria Werbowy for Vogue Paris, February 2010

I think it's pretty cool that Parisian Vogue created a middle-eastern
inspired editorial, particularly due to the controversial conflicts occurring
around the world + because of the upcoming
military and safari trends that are emerging this spring.

I think the unification of these two inspirations creates quite an
engaging vision in it's self.
